Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We really hope you are 100% happy with your purchase from Tape Design, however if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied and wish to return your order, you can do so by following these simple steps.

Please note Tape Design returns policy is strictly 14 days for a refund or exchange on unused goods. Refunds or Exchanges will not be issued on items where the request to return or exchange your order is made outside our 14-day policy. Your 14-day return policy begins on the day you receive your order. Please note we do not offer refunds or exchanges on SALE or discounted items, unless faulty or damaged in transit.

  1. Please contact us via email at [email protected] or via our SHOP Contact Page to request a Returns Form and please detail your reason for return. This will be emailed to you within 24 hours unless our online store is closed for vacation or it is the holiday season, that will be displayed on our homepage.
  2. Please fill out the Returns Form, detailing the reason for return.
  3. Please securely package your return order ensuring it is in it’s original, unused condition and include the printed copy of the Returns Form. Please note that any items returned without a completed Returns Form will not be refunded.
  4. Please ensure you send your return order via a trackable postage service as Tape Design does not take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post.
  5. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. A refund or exchange will be processed within 1 business day and credited back to the card you used to make the original purchase within 5 – 7 business days.,
  6. CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY – Christmas gifts purchased online between 15th November and 24th December may be returned or exchanged providing they are unworn or unused and have proof of purchase until Saturday 28th January 2017. Please note we do not offer a refund on SALE or discounted goods. SALE goods are valid for exchange only for 7 days from purchase providing they are returned in their original condition with all tags attached.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Non-returnable items include:
– Gift cards

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping

UK SHIPPING

We try to keep shipping costs as low as we can and are pleased to offer a fast, reliable delivery service priced at a base cost £2.95 plus the minimum add on cost possible, dependent on the weight and size of the products you are buying.

All products order by 11am will be shipped the same day. Products ordered after 11am will be shipped the next business day. This is subject to courier pick up times remaining the same.

Please allow up to 3 business days and please note we do not ship orders on Saturdays and Sundays. Tape Design also offers a free collection service where customers can collect orders from our Ulverston store Monday-Friday, please select ‘Local Pickup’ under Shipping when completing your order. Orders must be collected within 7 days of purchasing. Uncollected orders will be refunded after this date.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Regretfully, we do not currently ship any of our products internationally.

POSTAGE DISCLAIMER

With regret we are unable to insure delicate items such as ceramics, glass and other fragile materials including china, porcelain, clay and concrete. Unfortunately, all delivery couriers including Royal Mail do not allow compensation on these items to be claimed, should they be damaged in transit. We make every effort to carefully and securely wrap every order we post to our customers and label such items as fragile in the hope delivery agents will take the time and care to be mindful of delicate products. Due to this reason we regret we cannot offer a refund on the items mentioned above should they be damaged in transit. We are however more than happy to offer an exchange for the same product if we still have it in stock or product of the same value. In such cases where the product may not be available, a full refund will be given. This policy does not apply to jewellery, leather goods, clothing or any other homeware products that isn’t mentioned.
